 Being Merciful....Doing It To Him 

Matthew 25: 31-40

Matthew

"But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate them as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.  He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left. Then the King will say to those on the right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.'

"Then these righteous ones will reply, 'Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? "When did we ever see you sick or in prison, and visit you?' And the King will tell them, 'I assure you, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!'

Thoughts....

What is a Delta?  Geologically speaking, it's a sediment formation at the mouth of a river attempting to block free flowing water that washes against it. 

The Delta Variant also attempts to block....free flowing LIFE.  SARS Covid 19, is nothing compared to the Delta Variant.

SARS COVID 19 has affected 228,397,253 in the world, and it has KILLED 4,689,629 in the world.

In the United States, SARS COVID 19 has affected 42,533,023, and KILLED 686,427.

This is per print date of 09/20/21.  I'm a 'little' behind on printing.   

Compare this to the fact that approximately 6000-10,000 die from a seasonal flu each year.  Actual statistics can be found on the CDC website for the United States. Note tho', that they now break those down since 2010, so you will see very large numbers proportionately. 

Are you interested in dying?  Do you want to be responsible for the death of someone else?  I suspect not.

Vaxer or Non-Vaxer, for whatever reason either way, please do what is necessary to protect your life and the lives of others. 

It's a simple request.  Wear a mask, practice safe distancing, isolate as much as possible.

John Fitzgerald 'Jack' Kennedy said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." 

In John 15:12, Jesus said, "I command you to love each other in the same way that I love you.  And here is how to measure it - the greatest love is shown when people lay down their lives for their friends."  

He didn't say, "If you don't mind.  He commanded us.  And he didn't simply just lay his life down, he was nailed to a cross and died for you...and me....and all in the world....that we may have eternal life....IF WE OBEY HIM AND LOVE HIM....see the particulars in John 15.  

Simple request.  Eradicate SARS Covid 19 and Delta Variant, etc.  

Most importantly, Jesus said, "When you do it to the least of these, you do it to me."   Do not pretend to think that just because he already died and went to heaven that he is not affected by what you do....still....to him.  He feels you, my Brother....my Sister.  Literally. 

We CAN overcome this virus - in the world and in spirit, but we MUST do our part. 

Please....help me to live.  Live for those around you.  Those who love you dearly....who you love.  Keep them and you safe.  And all those around you.  This is real and really frightening. 

God, Jesus, Holy Spirit need you, and are counting on you, to do all things right.  If you fail at this, you fail at life....literally.  For those like myself, who are high risk, who desperately want to live, would it really hurt to wear a mask, social distance, isolate?  Get vaccinated? 

So you may have some mild symptoms, if you do get vaccinated.  It is a whole lot better than death.  Unless the vaccine could kill you first, however, the odds, based on all the numbers provided to date, are so slim....SO SLIM....BEYOND SLIM....in comparison to the odds of death for yourself or a loved one....it bears no comparable measure.  The vaccine is NOT a live virus.  The vaccine merely blocks the live virus from infecting the protein molecule on the surface of the cellular structure of your body which is the susceptible access route for the virus. The carbohydrate molecule on the surface of the cellular structure of your body acts as an antenna to allow the brain and the cells to communicate.  This action helps to enact fighter cells to go after the virus and further block it from re-entry.   

Why would you NOT want to set all that in motion to protect your life and that of your loved ones....and even those you do not know?

There are many that complain that foreigners are trying to invade, takeover, kill.  How much more foreign can you get than a virus invading your BODY?  It's coming at you and for you!  Why would you not want to arm yourself against THAT?

But I must say this....none of us would be in the United States were it not for the fact that our families were foreigners to these shores once, perhaps long before, or since, Ellis Island, unless related to Indigenous People, who may have also migrated. 

I must also say this....God created the brethren, just like you, so why do you think you need to arm yourself against your brother? 

Moving on....do the right thing, Vaxer or Non-Vaxer.  This is not about your 'rights'.  It's about doing the right thing for yourself and others.  NOR should politics have ANY say, enter any conversation, nor have anything to do with your body, your life, your loved ones....even the brethren.  And remembering that what you do to the least of these....you do to the Lord, now would not be a good time to upset the Lord, or hurt him.  Because YOUR end time may come before THE end times.  Do you want to go to heaven or hell, when your end time arrives?  Ah....yup....good time to do the right thing here. 

When my kids do something that is not of 'sound mind'....I tell them to make a better choice.  So I say to you....you need to make a better choice, if you have not already.  And thank you, if you have.  I will pray for those who have not....are not.  Please pray for me.  

May God, have mercy on us all.  

Let Us Pray

God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, please help all of us to do the right thing in life to protect ourselves and all others.  For those who cannot take the vaccine for sincerely valid reasons, please help them, Lord, and protect them, keep them safe.  For those that can and choose not to, for whatever reason, please help them, Lord, to make a better choice, educated them, to help them understand and not fear.  Protect them, and keep them safe, and all those who surround them, Lord.  For those that have, continue to protect them and keep them safe.  These are perilous times, Lord.  Please do not forsake us now, and please grant us mercy that we may learn what that means, and may be able to grant it to others, even with just a mask, social distancing, isolating....so others may life....with us. Thank you for all you have done, taking loved ones home, making life easier for others, healing the masses, raising others to a new way of life....and for all you are going to continue to do....while loving us....still.  Show us your way, your light, your path of righteousness, for your name's sake.  I praise you.  I thank you.  I love you.  FOREVER.  Amen.

  Our Continual Cause

"Abruptly Jesus broke into prayer:  "Thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth.  You've concealed your ways from sophisticates and know-it-alls, but spelled them out clearly to ordinary people.  Yes, Father, that's the way you like to work."
