Dear children, the last hour is here. You have heard that the antichrist is coming, and already many such antichrists have appeared. From this we know that the end of the world has come. These people left our churches because they never really belonged with us; otherwise they would have stayed with us. When they left us, it proved that they do not belong with us. But you are not like that, for the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and all of you know the truth. So I am writing to you not because you don't know the truth but because you know the difference between truth and falsehood. And who is the great liar? The one who says that Jesus is not the Christ. Such people are antichrists, for they have denied the Father and the Son. Anyone who denies the Son doesn't have the Father either. But anyone who confesses the Son has the Father also.

So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will continue to live in fellowship with the Son, and with the Father. And in this fellowship we enjoy the eternal life he promised us.

I have written these things to you because you need to be aware of those who want to lead you astray. But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don't need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you all things, and what he teaches is true - it is not a lie. So continue in what he has taught you, and continue to live in Christ.

And now, dear children, continue to live in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame. Since we know that God is always right, we also know that all who do what is right are his children.

Truth. Holy Spirit truth.

'So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning.'

'If you do, you will continue to live in fellowship with the Son, and with the Father.'

'And in this fellowship, we enjoy the eternal life he promised.'

'I have written these things to you because you need to be aware of those who want to lead you astray.'

'But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don't need anyone to teach you what is true.'

'For the Spirit teaches you all things, and what he teaches you is true - it is not a lie.'

'So continue in what he has taught you, and continue to live in Christ.'

'And now dear children, continue to live in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame.'

'Since we know that God is always right, we also know that all who do what is right are his children.'

Take time.

Take time today, or soon, to review each of these statements. See if they best describe how you live your life.

And, if not, why not?

What will you do....?

And if the 'why' would not be justifiable in God's, Jesus', Holy Spirit's eyes, heart, mind, spirit, and soul, what will you do to change that image, your lifestyle, your choices....to better align with....'what you have been taught from the beginning'.

And what if....you are doing things right?

And what if you are doing things right? What if you are doing what it says to do, 'continue[ing] to live in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage? And what if people are trying to tear you down, call you a liar, 'put you out' of the sphere of all things necessary and predominately good....because they 'can'? Because they are jealous, paranoid, small minded, have poor self-esteem, cannot take learning from others, don't want to share their 'power', don't want you to succeed or get ahead, see you in a dark light, because THE light of Christ does not truly shine within them, or, they just want to attack you because you, as a child of God, are their enemy....real or perceived. Or they still have 'that 8th grade mentality' of putting others down to prove their power....which really proves nothing of the sort, other than that they are hostile, abusive, etc. What then?

Hold on....tightly!

'You must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning.'

'But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don't need anyone to teach you what is true.'

'For the Spirit teaches you all things, and what he teaches you is true - it is not a lie.'

'Continue in what he has taught you, and continue to live in Christ.'

'Continue to live in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame.'

'Since we know that God is always right, we also know that all who do what is right are his children.'

It doesn't mean you are perfect, but it means you are a far sight better off than the opposition because you are his....striving to meet his image. Just sayin'.

And keep praying!

And keep praying....for yourself and your family, so you will be able to enjoy the eternal life he promised! And say a prayer for your enemies - those in opposition to God, Jesus, Holy Spirit within you - that they will be healed of all that causes them to be the way they are, so one day, they may TRULY know the Trinity - God, Jesus, Holy Spirit - in the fullness of their heart, mind, body, spirit, soul....so they won't hurt, nor project that evil pain onto you and others. And they too might have opportunity to enjoy eternal life, too.

God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, please help me to continue to remain faithful in what you have taught me from the beginning. I do have Holy Spirit within me, and he does teach what is true. May he always be with me, always teach me, help me along life's way. Help me continue in what he has taught me, and may I always continue to live in fellowship with Christ Jesus, you, and Holy Spirit. May I not make choices that will prevent me from meeting Jesus with courage, and if....when....I fail, please....forgive me. I want to always be your child, as I journey through life....to be without you is too painful to consider. May I always have fellowship with you, so that I may enjoy the eternal life you have promised. "I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us up to heaven," as Paul and Timothy share in Phil 3:14. And please, heal all those who come against you in me, and want to hurt us both. Those who choose to not hear me....or listen, exclude me, attack me, not include me, abuse me, are hostile towards me, don't respect me, ignore my disability which prevents me from getting ahead, or holding me up because of it; which further prevents me from strengthening my foundation by keeping me from having those entitlements I should be allowed, and then using that weakened foundation as an excuse to eliminate me and make my life more difficult....especially since they were instrumental in not only allowing actions that caused it, but then took action to make it worse. Help them a lot, please. Not just so they will stop negatively affecting my life, but because of such, they are impacting their own....especially eternal life with you, because, I am a child of yours, God, and all who hurt me, hurt you, which can result in hell, not heaven for them. Help all of us in the world. The world is in crisis....and we ALL SO need you in ALL ways. Please don't give up on any of us. In Jesus' name I pray, to dear Heavenly Father God, by and with the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen. I praise you. I thank you. I love you. Amen.

When I think of the wisdom and scope of God's plan, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you mighty inner strength through his Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope. May he be given glory in the church and in Christ Jesus forever and ever through endless ages. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21 NLT

It is time to reach into the community and the world around you to see wherein lies the greatest need. As you choose to focus on these areas, do so with a servant's heart. Whether the need is for children, adults, animals, the earth, or any cause in between that will help those in need, ask God how you can best serve his needs, what path you must take, and how long you should persevere. Sometimes we are to be in the lives of others merely as stepping stones. Sometimes we are to touch those lives forever. Whatever journey you are called to take, whatever team you will be a member, know this: God is with you always...even til the end of time. He loves you, is grateful for you, and will help you along life's way, especially if you are helping others along theirs, persevering with a servant's heart.

I now write most prayers in the position of ' I ' (first person) because most people are sitting at their computer alone, not in groups, and it allows those reading and praying to personalize the prayer as coming from them going to God. Variations may appear on holidays when families may wish to use the prayer provided. I encourage you to pray your own prayers as well.
