On The Night He Was Betrayed....
Matthew 26:20-29
Matthew
"When it was evening, Jesus sat down at the table with the twelve disciples. While they were eating, he said, "The truth is, one of you will betray me."
Greatly distressed, one by one they began to ask him, "I'm not the one, am I, Lord?"
He replied, "One of you who is eating with me now will betray me. For I, the son of Man, must die, as the Scriptures declared long ago. But how terrible it will be for my betrayer. Far better for him if he had never been born!"
Judas, the one who would betray him, also asked, "Teacher, I'm not the one, am I ?"
And Jesus told him, "You have said it yourself."
As they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread and asked God's blessing on it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, "Take it and eat it, for this is my body." And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them and said, "each of you drink from it, for this is my blood, which seals the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out to forgive the sins of man. Mark my words - I will not drink wine again until the day I drink it new with you in my Father's Kingdom."

Thoughts....
Tonight, ALL in the United States of America were betrayed....and around the world....by Donald J Trump, President of the United States of America, and his assigns.
Jesus is with you in Spirit. He understands what you just experienced. Be healed by the body and blood of the Lamb....Jesus Christ, Savior for the world.
But how terrible it will be for your betrayers. And should be.
Tonight, when you get home, or when you can, take a moment, to give thanks to God. Then take a piece of bread, break it. Get a glass of water...Jesus will turn it to wine. Ask God to bless it. Enjoy communion with your Lord, knowing you will be one with him, and, you shall be cleansed (from the evil that surrounds you), as you further embrace your oneness with him. Let him wash you anew from the pain, sorrow, suffering that was, and is to come. And let him forgive you, if you are amongst those who betrayed others..
Regardless of whom you voted for, or did not.
Do this in remembrance of Jesus....his birth, his life, his betrayal, his death, his resurrection....his love....for you....and his forgiveness. As you commune with him, be reminded that if you have become one with him by asking him into your life, you will never be alone, never be forsaken, never betrayed....and will be healed....by him.
And know this....He WILL take care of those who betrayed you, all those who were betrayed in the United States of America, all it stands for, and those around the world.
For those whose Savior is not named Jesus, know this....I believe my God is so wise, so knowing, so large, and knew he created a vast world with vast diversity, culture, race, etc., that he named your Savior by a name you would know, that you not miss his glowing love, the peace he brings, the forgiveness, and the opportunity for eternal life. So, by whatever name you call your Savior, go to him now. I believe he is the same as mine....by another name. He'll do for you, all he will do for me....just under another name.
It matters not the different ways by which we worship, show our honor and respect to our Savior. It matters that we just plain do.
Know this, too....we truly are one. May we embrace this unity of heart to grow onward together....looking outward in the same direction.

Let Us Pray
God, Jesus, Holy Spirit....you have begun a mighty work, a huge undertaking, a vast embrace to help heal the nations. And we thank you. May we all do everything in our power to be where you need us to be, to do what you call us to do, as you call us, to do all you ask of us. May we all be ready for you....for our work on earth....that we might enjoin with you, on that day, when you call us home to be with you. Open our hearts and our minds, enlighten our eyes, that we may feel your heart, have your wisdom, see you more clearly, while we love you more dearly, day....by....day. And keep us safe....please. In Jesus' name we pray....Amen. We praise you. We thank you. We love you. Amen.

Our Continual Cause
