Rise Up....Put God First....Love Your Neighbor

Matthew 22:37-40

Jesus replied, "'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.'   'This is the first and greatest commandment.  A second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'  All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments."

Thoughts....

Oppression, suppression, repression, depression.  The markers of yesterday, and today, but will it be the same for tomorrow?  

Anger has a place, but displaced, acted upon anger does nothing but hurt others and puts a strain on all you are trying to stand up for....which hurts you....all of us....ultimately. 

It gives reason to believe - right or wrong - that assumptions were correct.  Why make yourself look bad?  Why erase all the good you've done, and your Mama and Daddy did to help you rise?  It tarnishes who you are at the core of your being....a good person. 

RISE UP!

Be peaceful. 

Stand....for yourselves, your family, others, something bigger.

Don't be silent, let others know, so they, too can care, and rise up with you  But do so in a manner befitting your ideals, your thoughts, your inner person, your rightness, so others can learn from that rightness.  The youth are watching....give them rightness to believe in....to follow.  

Don't give reason or cause to shut others out.  Or believe something that hasn't been true, but may be now because of negative actions you may be taking, believing that the louder voice will be heard....better....more strongly, when indeed, a whisper is elementary to needing to strain to hear, to ensure, regardless of volume, what is being spoken, wherein value can be found.

Not in any historical order Jewish people, Irish, American Indian, Africans, women, disabled, elderly, homeless, LGBT, Chinese, Filipino, Hispanic, children harmed by bullies in youth or by predators, victims of violence, and so many more, have been oppressed, suppressed, repressed, depressed.  Everyone has been a victim of evil on one level or another.  If you think white supremist male has not, think again.  How did he get that evil way?  He learned it....from someone else who perpetrated on him.  NOooo excuses, just sayin'. 

The answer isn't anger.  The answer isn't righteous indignation, or sorrowful apologies for ancestral caused pain.  The answer lays in the foundational truths found in the Bible. 

You have a Creator - God.  Or so named by whatever name your religion calls him.

You have a Savior - Jesus.  Or so named by whatever name your religion calls him.

You have a Comforter, a Teacher - Holy Spirit.  Or so named by whatever name your religion calls him.

And they all lead the way pointing to love, and healing, and truth.

If you want to present a unified front, get back to foundational basics.  Join forces with God, Jesus, Holy Spirit.

It's time to rise up and build a new nation of believers, because CLEARLY there are MANY professing Christianity who have lost their way,  maybe their minds, and are playing in sinking sand with the devil, Satan.   

Donald Trump prophetic?  Hogwash. Realistic visions of Satan!

His actions?  Signs and wonders?  No!  Delusion and Satan rooted plans!

I mean REALLY....Donald Trump a savior born?!  If that's not THE MOST sad, EVIL joke played upon Christians, I don't know what is.   

DON'T BE FOOLED!

Black Lives Matter!  All Lives Matter!

And lest those of you take offense by me saying 'all lives matter' in nearly the same breath, look around you, look at who is standing by your side, fighting with you. They know hurt, pain, suffering, oppression, suppression, repression, depression....and have compassion, empathy, have hearts, believe in you, and with you, in your, and everyone's fight, to RISE UP. 

It's not just about you, and to think it is, places you in supremacy - a people and place you are fighting against.  

Many hurt with you and for you as a people. In part, for you and with you, because you are not alone in your suffering and pain.  

The abused - mentally, emotionally, physically, financially, economically, as a race, as a person, in subjection, weakened, individually or as a group....DON'T become supremist OVER anyone....lest you mimic others' ways.  

Don't get jailed or make choices that can put you into further subjection under others' rule.  Why would you even choose to hurt another? it makes you like those who have hurt you.  Innocent lives have been destroyed, don't perpetuate those actions.  What are you thinking?  You want to be like 'them'?  You are...you most certainly are now, if you are making choices that destroy other peoples' lives and livelihoods by the negative actions you choose.  And look what more you have now done to yourselves.  Not only have you put yourself at further risk of subjection, but you have become like the evil who have hurt you and are now also in sinking sand with Satan. 

RISE UP!

Don't let the sun, or THE SON [Jesus] go down on you.  Read John 15 to learn THE WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIGHT. 

Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. former Vice President of the United States of America, and current 2020 Presumptive Democratic Nominee for President of the United States of America, recently said the following:

"We can't ignore that we are a a country with an open wound right now - a wound far older and deeper than...George Floyd's killing - and his brutal, brutal death captured on film.  His final words, pleading for breath. 'Let me breathe, I can't breathe.'  It's ripped open anew this - this ugly under belly of our society."

"People all across this country are enraged and rightly so.  Every day African-Americans go about their lives with constant anxiety and trauma of wondering 'will I be next?'  Sounds like an exaggeration, but it's not.  These tragedies, these injustices cut at the very heart of our most sacred beliefs - that all Americans, equal in rights and in dignity, are part of an ingrained systemic cycle of racism and oppression that throughout every part of our society."

"If we're not committed as a nation, with every ounce of purpose in our beings - not just to binding up this wound in hope that somehow the scab once again will cover things over - but to treat the underlying injury, we're never going to eventually heal."// 

Get involved to help change laws.  Make your vote count.  VOTE!

First Lady Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama, wife of Barack Hussein Obama II, 44th President of the United States of America 2009-2017 said the following: 

"When they go low, we go high."  

Let us hold onto those words and start living by them....as outlined in Galatians 5:22-26:

'But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us:  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  Here there is not conflict with the law. 

'Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there.  If we are living now by the Holy Spirit, let us follow the Holy Spirit's leading in every part of our lives.  Let us not become conceited, or irritate one another, or be jealous of one another.' 

I hurt that we are in a world of political division because it teaches us today not about balance as it was intended.  It teaches us of autocracy/dictatorship, ruling over VS compassion in an embrace of solidarity, with an equal balance of superior minds and hearts organizationally doing what's right to be the dams of hate opening the gates of freedom, unifying us as one nation under God indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. 

Believe.  Come together.  Love each other....like you've never loved before.  Help one another.  Become one in Christ Jesus. 

Use that inner energy to change the rules, the laws, people's minds about who you are, who we all can be....with you.  May God richly bless you....all of you who come together in Jesus' name for all good and right reasons and things.

God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, help us.  Free us.  Heal us.  In your holy name, bring us together as one.  We are currently on our knees in fear, turmoil, pain, suffering, loss and more....as individuals, as a nation....in all nations in the world.  Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.  Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven.  Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who have sinned against us.
