Equality For ALL

Acts 15: 6-11

Acts

So the apostles and church elders got together to decide this question.  At the meeting, after a long discussion, Peter stood and addressed them as follows: "Brothers, you all know that God chose me from among you some time ago to preach to the Gentiles so that they could hear the Good News and believe.  God who knows people's hearts, confirmed that he accepts Gentiles by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as he gave him to us.  He made no distinction between us and them, for he also cleansed their hearts through faith. Why are you now questioning God's way by burdening the Gentile believers with a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors were able to bear?  We believe that we are all saved the same way, by the special favor of the Lord Jesus."

  Thoughts....

So why, President Trump, are YOU now questioning God's way by burdening the world with your yoke that neither we nor our ancestors were able to bear?

America, Democrats, believed and voted that there should be equality for ALL.  They understood that we are all saved the same way, by the special favor of the Lord Jesus.

No more Twitter yokes - no more yokes at all, President Trump.  Discrimination is against the law.  Abuse is pure evil.

God who knows people's hearts, confirmed that he accepts ALL by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as he gave the Jewish people.  He made no distinction between believers.  He cleansed everyone's hearts through faith.  IF THEY ASKED.  Take a bath in God's faith, President Trump.  It's time.

ALL creatures are created equal.  Open your heart to God and ALL whom he created.  Learn discernment.  Apply wisdom.  Knowledge alone is not enough.   Learn RESPECT!  Kindness.  Compassion.  Empathy.  Open doors to understand, don't slam them shut for your ignorance and unwillingness to learn.  Your mother was, and your wife is, a foreigner.  How dare you spit in their faces by your choices and actions.

Shame....on....you.

Take a few lines, President Trump, from the playbook of true love and life....

"So I advise you to live according to your new life in the Holy Spirit.  Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves.  The old sinful natures loves to do evil, which is just opposite from what the Holy Spirit wants.  And the Spirit gives us desires that are opposite from what the sinful nature desires.   These two forces are constantly fighting each other, and your choices are never free from this conflict.  But when you are directed by the Holy Spirit, you are no longer subject to the law.

"When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, your lives will produce these evil results: sexual immorality, impures thoughts, eagerness for lustful pleasure, idolatry, participation in demonic activities, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, divisions, the feeling that everyone is wrong except those in your own little group, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other kinds of sin.  Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

"But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us:  love, you, peace, pattience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  Here there is no conflict with the law.

President Trump, if we pick a Christian by the fruits of the Spirit, you are a very bad apple.  Are you a Christian?  Have you accepted Jesus Christ into your heart?  If not, why not?  Too self-focused, selfish, fear losing your control?  Make a better choice, if you are not a Christian, President Trump.  If you are a Christian, you've missed a whole lot of points under the New Law....the New Testament.  Even the Old Testament.  The world needs a person of faith in the White House, as overseer of the free world.  Badly.  I would whole heartedly trust a Jewish or Muslim person who is faith filled and earnestly practicing their faith, over someone who practices only himself....or one certainly acting as a non-Christian.

Paul shares more as he continues to preach....

"Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there.  If we are living now by the Holy Spirit, let us follow the Holy Spirit's leading in every part of our lives.  Let us not become conceited, or irritate one another, or be jealous of one another."  The New Testament:  Galatians 5: 16-26

Paul's advice as documented historically in Galatians 6: 11-16 states: "Those who are trying to force you to be circumcised are doing it for just one reason.  They don't want to be persecuted for teaching that the cross of Christ alone can save.  And even those who advocate circumcision don't really keep the whole law.  They only want you to be circumcised so they can brag about it and claim you as their disciples.

"As for me, God forbid that I should boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Because of that cross, my interest in this world died long ago, and the world's interest in me is also long dead.  It doesn't make any difference now whether we have been circumcised or not.  What counts is whether we really have been changed into new and different people.  May God's mercy and peace be upon all those who live by this principle.  They are the new people of God."

ALL need to heed this, also, from the same book:

"Dear brothers and sisters, if another Christian is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path.  And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.  Share each other's troubles and problems, and in this way obey the law of Christ.  If you think you are too important to help someone in need, you are only fooling yourself.  You are really a nobody.

"Be sure to do what you should, for then you will enjoy the personal satisfaction of having done your work well, and you won't need to compare yourself to anyone else.  For we are each responsible for our own conduct."

Paul goes on to say:  "Don't be misled.  Remember that you can't ignore God and get away with it.  You will always reap what you sow!  Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful desires will harvest the consequences of decay and death.  But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.  So don't get tired of doing what is good.  Don't get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time.  Whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone, especially to our Christian brothers and sisters.  The New Testament:  Galatians 6:11-16.

I will pray, President Trump, that your heart is cleansed through faith.

  Let Us Pray

God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, I beg of you to send strong Christians to surround President Trump, so that he will see the fruits of your Spirit through people of faith and hopefully desire to have his heart cleansed and your heart received into his.  Oh, Father God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, I beg of you that I may be a better person, a better Christian....forgive me of my sins, that I not follow in the path of anything that is not righteousness, and that I may always be found to be filled with Holy Spirit, not mine alone. I pray earnestly that all those who are Christians, and those who practice the Jewish faith who have not yet accepted Jesus, but who know you, God....will please pray for a change of heart for President Trump, that he look outside himself and find you, God, in the fullness of all you, God is, and receive all you have to offer, including forgiveness of sin, and the offer of eternal life, if he but obeys YOU, God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, per John 15.  Father God, Jesus, Holy Spirit....I beg of you more....please keep the people in America safe, and those all over the world.  Root out evil and destroy it.  YOU alone, not human against human.  Raise us up to a new people of faith.  Help us to find our strength in you....from you....with you.  Guide us, lead us, direct our steps, protect us, keep us.  And when the going gets tough, carry us.  Open the ladder of heaven when necessary, so all those believing, trusting, loving, obeying to the best of their ability, forgiving those not functioning up to par on that level, may get to your arms in heaven for total and perfect healing having been raised to new heights of glory.  I praise you.  I thank you for listening, knowing that you do answer prayer.  And I love you.   Amen.    Please read all of Romans 8: 1-39....and rest assured.

More love....

  Benediction....Blessing

Let us hear from Paul as he prays:

When I think of the wisdom and scope of God's plan, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.  I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you mighty inner strength through his Holy Spirit.  And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him.  May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love.  And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is.  May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it.  Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Now glory be to God!  By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope.  May he be given glory in the church and in Christ Jesus forever and ever through endless ages.  Amen.  Ephesians 3:14-21 NLT

  Our Continual Cause

It is time to reach into the community and the world around you to see wherein lies the greatest need.  As you choose to focus on these areas, do so with a servant's heart.  Whether the need is for children, adults, animals, the earth, or any cause in between that will help those in need, ask God how you can best serve his needs, what path you must take, and how long you should persevere.  Sometimes we are to be in the lives of others merely as stepping stones.  Sometimes we are to touch those lives forever.  Whatever journey you are called to take, whatever team you will be a member, know this:  God is with you always...even til the end of time.  He loves you, is grateful for you, and will help you along life's way, especially if you are helping others along theirs, persevering with a servant's heart.

Please accept my sincerest thanks....and God's....and may God richly bless you !

  One last thing....

Jesus' Prayer of Thanksgiving

'The Unforced Rhythms of Grace'

"Abruptly Jesus broke into prayer:  "Thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth.  You've concealed your ways from sophisticates and know-it-alls, but spelled them out clearly to ordinary people.  Yes, Father, that's the way you like to work."

Jesus resumed talking to the people, but now tenderly.  "The Father has given me all these things to do and say.  This is a unique Father - Son operation, coming out of Father and Son intimacies and knowledge.  No one knows the Son the way the Father does, nor the Father the way the Son does.  But I'm not keeping it to myself; I'm ready to go over it line by line with anyone willing to listen."

"Are you tired?  Worn out?  Burned out on religion?  Come to me.  Get away with me and you'll recover your life.  I'll show you how to take a real rest.  Walk with me and work with me - watch how I do it.  Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.  I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn how to live freely and lightly.

Matthew 11:  25-30

  The Message

And the people said,

"Amen."

I now write most prayers in the position of ' I ' (first person) because most people are sitting at their computer alone, not in groups, and it allows those reading and praying to personalize the prayer as coming from them going to God.  Variations may appear on holidays when families may wish to use the prayer provided.  I encourage you to pray your own prayers as well.

NOTE:  I said it long ago, but let me say it again.  If you are wanting to lead a group, start a church, or are confined in an institution, or live in a country where the Gospel is not preached, and you don't know what to say or how to say it, and yet feel led to share, teach, or preach, besides just reading straight out of the Bible and sharing what God puts on your heart, please feel free to share any or all of what I've written, if it will help you, as long as you include where it comes from, due to copyright laws.  Jesus gave God's love and healing freely, as well as his message.  Our responsibility is to get the Word out to those who need to hear it.  If what I've written....by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit....or what he has said through me....has helped you, it may help others that you know.  You are welcome to share it.  God calls all of us to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the world.  Please share it with the fullness of love that God, Jesus, Holy Spirit....and I....have given it.  Amen!
