  What Is Your Just Cause?

 Acts 13: 26 -28

Acts

Brothers - you son's of Abraham, and also all of you devout Gentiles who fear the God of Israel - this salvation is for us!  The people in Jerusalem and their leaders fulfilled prophecy by condemning Jesus to death.  They didn't recognize him or realize that he is the one the prophets had written about, though they hear the prophets' words read every Sabbath.  They found no just cause to execute him, but they asked Pilate to have him killed anyway.

  Thoughts....

Where is your worth?  How do you measure it?

What is your 'just cause' to be put to death?  Will it be to be handed over and placed in the hands of Satan for eternity?

Wouldn't you rather be received into heaven and placed in the arms of THE Lord forever?

How will you be recognized?

Will you be viewed as a Christian?

It only matters in life what God, Jesus, Holy Spirit think when you consider the 'hereafter'....eternal life.  So, if you are making choices unbecoming that of one called by choice into God's militia, then Soldiers, make a better choice!  That time is NOW!

The people in Jerusalem and their leaders fulfilled prophecy by condemning Jesus to death.  They didn't realize that he was the one prophets had written about as the Messiah.

Could your sins have begun to disfigure him even before his death when he took on the sins of the world....your sins....for you....so that you may have a life....an abundant eternal life?

Jesus gave no 'just cause' to be put to death.  None, nope, zero, nada, nothing.  And yet he was killed anyway.

Truly we should be thanking those leaders and people in Jerusalem.  Had Jesus not died, and taken on the sins of the world, we would not have the opportunity to receive eternal life.

"Brothers - you sons of Abraham, AND ALSO ALL of you devout Gentiles who fear THE God of Israel - this salvation is for US!

There IS 'just cause' to find Jesus worthy!

Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!  We are not worthy to receive him, but only say THE WORD and we....you, and I....SHALL be healed!

Happy are those who receive him.

Alleluia!  Receive him today!  Alleluia!

As you usher Jesus into your heart, and journey with God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, think about all that they have done for you over your life and what is available to you....forgiveness of sins and an abundant eternal life.  You'll have much 'just cause' to praise them indeed!

And remember, IN everything give praise and thanksgiving!

"Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything.  Tell God whaytyou need and thank him for all he has done.  Philippians 4:6

"Always be joyful.  Keep on praying.  No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus."  1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Amen!

  Let Us Pray

Oh, Father God, Lord Jesus, Companion Holy Spirit, I just praise you for all you've done for me and all you have offered me.  I am so grateful to have 'just cause' to 'love you more dearly, see you more clearly, follow you more dearly day by day'.   THANK YOU!  Thank you. I am humbled deeply when I think to what lengths you have gone to insure I was born, loved, wanted, accepted, embraced, given an abundant life, a promise of an eternal life, if I but accept you and obey you.  You have given me such 'just cause' to bow down to you and look up to you.  That I may hold your hand and embrace your heart, your life, as you have done for me.  Why, oh why, I do not breathe you in every moment, I do not know.  Perhaps it's because the world has shown me so much pain, so much suffering, sorrow.  I release all of that unto you now, that I may be lifted to new heights of glory with you.  That I might make room for you to grow more within me....that we may know a oneness as you, Jesus, expressed you had with God.  That is what I would like.  That oneness, completeness with you God, Jesus, Holy Spirit.....the knowing I might receive an abundant eternal life....that would be....IS....my 'just cause'.  May it be so for all creation in the world, the universe.  I love you!  I thank you!  I praise you!  Amen

"Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later.  For ALL CREATION is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are.  Against its will, everything on earth was subjected to God's curse.  ALL CREATION anticipates the day when it will join God's children in glorious freedom from death and decay.  For we know that ALL CREATION has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.  And EVEN we Christians, although we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, also groan to be released from pain and suffering.  We, TOO, wait anxiously for that day when God will give us our full rights as his children, including the new bodies he has promised us.  Now that we are saved, we eagerly look forward to this freedom.  For if you already have something, you don't need to hope for it.  But if we look forward to something we don't have yet, we must wait patiently and confidently.

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our distress.  For we don't even know what we should pray for, nor how we should pray.  But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.  And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will.  And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.  For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters.  And having chosen them, he called them to come to him.  And he gave them right standing with himself, and he promised them his glory. "  Romans 8:1-30

This is the word of the Lord.  Thanks be to God.  Alleluia!

Praise Report!

This message was typed on the NEW computer that I've just been able to purchase because the church (also used as my personal) computer ceased to function.  It has meant the world to me, and to God, for the donations of prayer support that enabled me to purchase a computer.  I will hopefully be able to draw from the old computer all 'Thoughts' written for the Lord to complete the book he has slated for publishing.  Thank you SO much, and, may God bless you.

More love....

  Benediction....Blessing

Let us hear from Paul as he prays:

When I think of the wisdom and scope of God's plan, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.  I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you mighty inner strength through his Holy Spirit.  And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him.  May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love.  And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is.  May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it.  Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Now glory be to God!  By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope.  May he be given glory in the church and in Christ Jesus forever and ever through endless ages.  Amen.  Ephesians 3:14-21 NLT

  Our Continual Cause

It is time to reach into the community and the world around you to see wherein lies the greatest need.  As you choose to focus on these areas, do so with a servant's heart.  Whether the need is for children, adults, animals, the earth, or any cause in between that will help those in need, ask God how you can best serve his needs, what path you must take, and how long you should persevere.  Sometimes we are to be in the lives of others merely as stepping stones.  Sometimes we are to touch those lives forever.  Whatever journey you are called to take, whatever team you will be a member, know this:  God is with you always...even til the end of time.  He loves you, is grateful for you, and will help you along life's way, especially if you are helping others along theirs, persevering with a servant's heart.

Please accept my sincerest thanks....and God's....and may God richly bless you !

    One last thing....

 Jesus' Prayer of Thanksgiving

'The Unforced Rhythms of Grace'

"Abruptly Jesus broke into prayer:  "Thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth.  You've concealed your ways from sophisticates and know-it-alls, but spelled them out clearly to ordinary people.  Yes, Father, that's the way you like to work."

Jesus resumed talking to the people, but now tenderly.  "The Father has given me all these things to do and say.  This is a unique Father - Son operation, coming out of Father and Son intimacies and knowledge.  No one knows the Son the way the Father does, nor the Father the way the Son does.  But I'm not keeping it to myself; I'm ready to go over it line by line with anyone willing to listen."

"Are you tired?  Worn out?  Burned out on religion?  Come to me.  Get away with me and you'll recover your life.  I'll show you how to take a real rest.  Walk with me and work with me - watch how I do it.  Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.  I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn how to live freely and lightly.

   Matthew 11:  25-30

  The Message

And the people said,

"Amen."

I now write most prayers in the position of ' I ' (first person) because most people are sitting at their computer alone, not in groups, and it allows those reading and praying to personalize the prayer as coming from them going to God.  Variations may appear on holidays when families may wish to use the prayer provided.  I encourage you to pray your own prayers as well.

NOTE:  I said it long ago, but let me say it again.  If you are wanting to lead a group, start a church, or are confined in an institution, or live in a country where the Gospel is not preached, and you don't know what to say or how to say it, and yet feel led to share, teach, or preach, besides just reading straight out of the Bible and sharing what God puts on your heart, please feel free to share any or all of what I've written, if it will help you, as long as you include where it comes from, due to copyright laws.  Jesus gave God's love and healing freely, as well as his message.  Our responsibility is to get the Word out to those who need to hear it.  If what I've written....by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit....or what he has said through me....has helped you, it may help others that you know.  You are welcome to share it.  God calls all of us to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the world.  Please share it with the fullness of love that God, Jesus, Holy Spirit....and I....have given it.  Amen!
