1 Joyful are people of integrity,
who follow the instructions of the LORD.
2 Joyful are those who obey his laws
and search for him with all their hearts.
3 They do not compromise with evil,
and they walk only in his paths.
4 You have charged us
to keep your commandments carefully.
5 Oh, that my actions would consistently
reflect your decrees!
6 Then I will not be ashamed
when I compare my life with your commands.
7 As I learn your righteous regulations,
I will thank you by living as I should!
8 I will obey your decrees.

9 How can a young person stay pure?
By obeying your word.
10 I have tried hard to find you—
don't let me wander from your commands.
11 I have hidden your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you.

meanwhile, I will concentrate on your commandments.

with those who know your laws.
80 May I be blameless in keeping your decrees;
then I will never be ashamed.

Let Us Pray
Dear Heavenly Father God, Jesus, Holy Spirit....what more can I say to you? I have poured out my heart by repeating the prayers of the psalmist. Forgive me, receive me, cleanse me washing me anew, renew me, heal me, make me fully and completely yours, so that I may be all you need me to be, and all I need me to be, and all I need to be to others that are yours, and, those that are not. I want to embrace you and embody you. I want to go forth answering your call for my life...to obey you and to serve...you. Help me to be everything I can be for you, Lord. Baptise me in the fullness of your Holy Spirit that I might be full to overflowing with your love, your fruits, your gifts. Grant me, with your mercy, the peace that passes all understanding. Grant me your mirth and joy. Let me laugh again WITH others...not ever...at others. Let me be all things for you, Lord, that I might be able to meet the needs of those you call me to serve. Let us all be a family in and with you as we come together to worship you and love you and obey you. Hold me and keep me close...protect me...uplift me...embrace me. Don't let me stray...don't ever let me have to say, "Where are you, Lord?". And when things go wrong in my life, let me realize it is not you, but Satan, that seeks to kill, steal, and destroy. You are a loving God, who brings hope, promises fulfilled and love. Thank you, Lord, that "I am fearfully and wonderfully made". You "Lord will work out your plans for my life...for your faithful love, O Lord endures forever". Thank you.
